Proceedings of the 3rd Colloquium “Saudade Perpétua” – Art, Culture and Heritage of the Romanticism

This work brings together a significant part of the papers presented at the 3rd Colloquium "Saudade Perpétua," which took place in Casa dos Patudos – Museum of Alpiarça, from October 7 to 8, 2022. Available in digital format, it is another notable addition to the bibliography on Romanticism in Portugal, complementing the volumes with the proceedings from the 1st and 2nd colloquiums on the same topic. The themes addressed in the current Proceedings range from the scientific advances of the 19th century to domestic daily life, encompassing travel literature, visual culture and photography, theatre and exhibitions, architecture and painting, decorative arts applied to building interiors, furniture, and jewelry.
