Seminar "The European Parliament and the 2019 European Elections"
On May 2, 2019, the seminar "The European Parliament and the 2019 European Elections" took place at the Fernando Pessoa University . This event was a joint initiative by CEPESE and the FPU.
The seminar featured presentations and discussions from eight researchers: four members of CEPESE and Universidade Fernando Pessoa, and researchers from IPRI, University Nova , University of Coimbra, and University of Minho.
The event concluded with an informal discussion session on the European Union and its citizens, titled Café Europa, a recurring debate space at Fernando Pessoa University. This discussion included the participation of the representative of the European Parliament Office in Portugal, Europe Direct Porto, and the Jean Monnet Action (a European module held from 2007-2010). The seminar was part of the ongoing public presentation and discussion of research work, which will soon be published in a book.
